General Manager
Location: Bainbridge Island, WA
Hours: Part-time (about 20 hours/week to start), moving to full-time once we open early next year.

About Us
Bainbridge Play Cafe is a family-focused coffee shop opening soon on Bainbridge Island. We’re creating a warm, welcoming space where parents can relax and connect while their little ones play. As we get ready to open our doors, we’re looking for an organized, friendly, hands-on General Manager to help us bring the cafe to life and keep things running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Oversee the daily flow of the cafe and play space, making sure everything runs smoothly and feels welcoming.
Lead and support our awesome team of baristas and play cafe hosts.
Help with hiring, training, and scheduling staff.
Work with the Owner and Event Planners to plan and execute events and private parties.
Keep an eye on inventory and supplies, place orders, and help manage vendors.
Make sure the cafe stays clean, safe, and up to our quality standards.
Jump in wherever needed - whether that’s behind the counter serving drinks, in the play area, or helping a customer.
Bring creative ideas to help improve operations, events, and guest experiences.
What We’re Looking For
Experience working in or managing a coffee shop, cafe, or similar establishment.
Strong leadership and communication skills - someone who builds a positive team culture.
Organized and reliable, with great attention to detail.
Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and pitching in wherever needed.
Comfortable interacting daily with children and their parents.
Friendly and approachable - you genuinely enjoy connecting with both guests and team members.
Passion for great coffee, good vibes, and community!
Details
Part-time (around 20 hours/week) to start; full-time after our grand opening early next year.
Competitive pay based on experience.
Flexible schedule (some weekends or special events may be required).
