How it Works
When you enter our coffee shop, it will look very similar to any other cafe with a main seating area for guests in the front, and a full-service coffee bar on the right.
Bainbridge Play Cafe is just a little bit different than a traditional coffee shop because we are a family-friendly space with a separate play area available in the back of our shop, designed with kids aged 0-6 in mind. 60-minute play passes cost $12 per child.
We are not a drop-off daycare facility, which means you must stay with your child inside the designated play/seating area at all times.
For capacity reasons, and to ensure everyone enjoys their time in our beautiful space, we only allow 10 kids at a time in the play space for each 60-minute play session, and you must reserve your play time slot ahead of time online.
While we can occasionally accommodate drop-ins depending on capacity, drop-in visits to play in our space are not always guaranteed. Reservations are highly, highly recommended!

Yes, older siblings are always welcome to play with their younger siblings.
Please use your best judgment and be mindful of other little ones who might also be playing in the shared space. For capacity reasons, older siblings will also be charged for a day pass to be with you in the play space, even if they aren’t actively playing.
We will have an activity corner with older kids in mind, located within the play space seating area for those siblings who might have aged out of the play space.

Walk-ins are not always guaranteed and may only be available if there’s a last-minute cancellation. Please check online to see if the time slot you’re requesting is available before coming to the play cafe. (This will avoid disappointed kiddos if the play space is full!)

You are welcome to arrive at any time within your 60-minute reservation window. No refunds will be issued if you’re unable to make it on time to take advantage of the full 60 minutes.

We know kids are unpredictable! Cancellations made at least 2 hours before your play session will receive a full refund, giving us enough time to offer your spot to another family.
Monthly Memberships
This membership is for families with 1 child + up to 2 adults. (Additional safe adults can be added at a later time.) This is the price per month. You will be automatically charged at the time of sign-up, but no worries - your membership won’t start until we announce our official opening date in April 2026. After that date, you will be charged each month until you manually cancel your membership. Thank you so much for supporting us early. We can’t wait to welcome you to the cafe!
